Below you will find the updated itinerary with tournament entry fees for the 2024 ROC Cup located at Lucky Dice Café in Huntsville Alabama.

 

Wednesday, May 1st

7pm: 3v3 Team “Tracy Brock Memorial” Welcome Event Sealed from Random Boosters

Cost: $20.00 per player

Format: Booster Draft, Teams of 3 Players, Each team will receive 6 boosters to build 3 teams of 300 points each. 3 Rounds of Swiss and cut to top 4. Boosters are random from various sets of Heroclix

 

Thursday, May 2nd

Noon until close: Hard ROC (Constructed Siver Age 8 Player Single Elimination) & Roc & Rolls (Sealed BR’s) Earn ROC Points

Cost Hard ROC: $10.00

Cost ROC & Roll: $20.00

Noon: Regional Qualifier 400 Silver Theme Constructed

Cost: $30.00

5pm to 9pm CST: Online Battle Royales

Cost: $10.00

 

Format: Sealed, one virtual booster, Battle Royale format, Spawn Rules Active

 

 

Friday, May 3rd

9am: Team 3v3 Scott Porter Invitational Heroclix for Huntington’s Event Swiss Rounds, Modern Age 400 points, Extreme Highlander

Cost: $90.00 per team/$30.00 per player

  • Only one element is allowed per team.
  • This means if one player has Xavier Wolverine on his force that he can only play that one. Furthermore his/her teammates may not play that same figure. This applies to all game elements. There can only be one.
  • Elements with the same name may be played if they are not from the same set and have the same set number. 
  • Figures from the same set but that have different point values are considered the same figure. Only one can be played.
  • Figures that can produce multiple generic figures and or bystanders may produce those after the game begins. 
  • We reserve the right to ban or errata any element if we deem that element causes a unfair advantage in gameplay and/or breaks the spirit of the game.

8pm: Silver Age World Championship Quarterfinals (Swiss, 3 Rounds) Top half advance to Sunday

Format: 400 Points Silver Age

Cost: $0.00 (Requires 50 points to enter)

Note: You may only enter the ROC Championship once. If you fail to qualify, you cannot enter the Semi-Finals on Sunday, even if you have enough ROC Points to do so.

 

Saturday. May 4th

10am until close: Hard ROC (Constructed Siver Age 8 Player Single Elimination) & Roc & Rolls (Sealed BR’s) Earn ROC Points

Cost Hard ROC: $10.00

Cost ROC & Roll: $20.00

 

10am: Scott Porter vs the World (Sealed, 300 Points, Set TBA)

Cost: $40 for two boosters
 

Format: 300 points sealed (Set or Sets TBA)

 

Special Rules: 
 

  • Players are allowed one mulligan and can purchase two new boosters if they are unsatisfied with the original boosters. Extra boosters are contingent on product availability. Original boosters must be put up and players must play with their replacement boosters. 
  • Players may buy up to 5 probs per game. All proceeds from prob purchases will go to Huntington Disease Society of America. 
  • This will be Swiss play followed by a cut. Swiss rounds and cuts may be shortened to ensure the tournament is ended prior to the auction and event on Saturday night.

 

1pm to 9pm: Online Battle Royales

Format: Sealed, one virtual booster, Battle Royale format, Spawn Rules Active

 

730pm: Heroclix Hall of Fame Induction

We will also be introducing Hall of Fame inductees who will be receiving their HOF Rings.

 

8pm: Heroclix for Huntington’s Auction

Relax, eat, drink, and sit back and win some unbelievable items that will be on display. We will have the same type of items that we had last year. We will post these as soon as we have them all lined up. You may bid live or online. If you are present, you get to take the item home and if you are elsewhere in the world, we will mail it to you.

 

Sunday, May 5th

9am: Silver Age World Championship Semifinals (Swiss Rounds) Top 32 advance to Finals

Format: 400 Points Silver Age

Cost: $35.00 plus 100 ROC Points or $35.00 plus advancement from Quarterfinals

10am until close: Battle Royales

Cost: $20.00

1pm to 9pm: Online Battle Royales

Cost: $10.00

 

Format: Sealed, one virtual booster, Battle Royale format, Spawn Rules Active

 

230pm (Approximate): Silver Age World Championship Finals Single Elimination Top 32 (Must Advance from Semifinals)
